The movie.....

Having seen the "Two Towers" twice now, I feel like I can comment upon it...

Frodo scares me. And, it took me nearly two movies, but I did finally notice that he's the only blue-eyed hobbit (and Gollum has blue eyes...)

I went the second time mainly to see Legolas swing himself on to the horse again. Oh, my..... *pant* *pant*

If Faramir were a real person instead of a fictional one, he should sue for defamation of character.

Was I imagining it or, when Gandalf said "Look for me on the dawn of the fifth day", did Aragorn really reply "'kay"?

I love the expression on Haldir's face when the dirty, disheveled (and presumably smelly) Aragorn hugs him. He almost, but not quite, wrinkles his pretty little elf-nose.

The "skateboarding" Legolas was too much. Really. Gnarly, dude.

When Gandalf appeared at the battle of Helm's Deep, it was all I could do to keep from yelling out "Hi Ho Silver, away!"

I would love to know more about the horses they used in this movie. I'm sure they used a variety of breeds. I was pleased that they chose horses that looked substantial, not delicate. Shadowfax, "the fastest of all the Mearas" appeared to be a warm-bred rather than a thoroughbred or Arabian. The horses looked as though they could actually carry a full grown man with armor.

I really wish I knew more about medieval armor and battle.

The Celtic-sounding music was gorgeous.

On the whole, I liked it.

That wasn't John Wayne and the U.S. Cavalry??

That WAS very funny. It's about the expressions my cats use when I try to pick them up after working out.
