What I did today.
I've decided to write down what I do each day, to try and break myself of the feeling that I never do anything. As I said, this is pretty boring: it's pretty much for my long-term benefit.
Got up early.
Unloaded the dishwasher.
Cooked scrambled eggs with cheese for breakfast for everybody except James, who's picky.
Walked to school to get David his coat, which he left at home.
Went to therapy.
Made more coffee.
Wrote e-mails.
Spent time checking out the CA Secretary of State web site re: incorporation.
Read LJ. Wrote some e-mails based on LJ.
Said goodbye to
Helped David with his spelling homework.
Went to the park so David could practice his bike riding.
Helped David with his math homework.
Went to Target to get his meds which he starts tomorrow morning.
Read with David.
Read to Kevin.
Went to store to get bread and alfredo sauce.
Made tortellini for dinner.
Got the kidlets to bed.
Hounded James about his homework until he finished the parts due tomorrow.
Reviewed James's homework.
Wrote scripture study I promised to have in to the church for this week's covenant groups. Sent it to rector: it was supposed to be based on his sermon from Sunday, and I needed to check that I had gotten the point he was trying to make.
Loaded dishwasher.
Rounded up laundry from James's room.
Loaded washing machine; reran clothes in dryer.
Set out clothes and snacks for the littler ones.
Wrote extensive note to Kevin's teacher about why we hadn't done his homework (he claimed to have left his backpack on the bus, I found it after he went to bed stuffed under his coat in a corner of his room) and about the head lice incident.
And I am about to hook up dishwasher And get ready and go to bed.

My partner P makes lists like this sometimes, to see what all she accomplishes in a day and to remind us what she does.
No wonder you get tired when Brian's out of town!

Don't do anything? Heh, reading your list makes me feel like a huge slacker.
