Poor baby...

On Memorial Day, James went down some side trails near Natural Bridges State Park. Among other things, he discovered spawning salmon. He was not aware of it, but he also discovered poison oak. It started erupting on Sunday.

Today he asked to be taken to the doctor as he was starting to itch all over. The doctor confirmed that it was poison oak.

So now we have forty dollars worth of prescription antihistamines and anti-itch sprays. James has been zonked out most of the afternoon and is generally miserable. Sigh.

[Edit: I did NOT front-load my iTunes. I mentioned it to James, and he was not amused.]

Poor James. I grew up getting poison oak. And I also remember back when [livejournal.com profile] deyo said, "But I never get poison oak," then I remember the steroids his doctor gave him.

Let's hope James gets better before the steroids.

Hmm... I didn't see any there, but (shrug). James apparently doesn't have my resistance to the stuff, unfortunately.
