Hey! I figured out Google's logo this morning without, um, Googling it.

Of, course, it was an easy one.

I could tell it was a visual representation of Braille but still couldn't figure out why until I moused over it.

Henh. With Firefox running I no longer see the Google Splash Page, even though it's where I start.

I recognized it too, then suddenly went back to the page and turned off images to check the Alt text.
Kinda funny having a Google Doodle that the people most able to read wouldn't be able to recognize visually. :)

a couple of weeks ag, the class i was subbing in had a story about a boy who reads with braille and they had a project where the kids wrote their names. they showed a "capital letter" marker, but didn't show its placement... now i know! thanks for pointing this out!
