Sir Winston Churchill, former British Prime Minister, was awarded a Nobel in 1953 -- in what field?



Literature. Churchill received the Nobel Prize for literature in 1953, the same year he was knighted. His historical and autobiographical works are amazing.

I've been looking forward to these Trivia Questions since I discovered them accidently in the course of last weekends discourse. What amazes me is that although my fields of ignorance are almost limitless, you have somehow missed entirely them this week. So, thanks for the ego boost!
