Woo hoo!

This evening, my blog, The Wild Winds Of Fortune, crossed the 1,000 hit mark. Which means I get as many hits in six months as Atrios does in twenty minutes*. : )

Edit: I has been pointed out to me that people read me via RSS feed, which doesn't show up in the hit counter. In which case, this is a belated Woo hoo. Also, I wish to emphasize that I am amused by this.


* Yes, I know he's a professional.

I like to think I have a select and discriminating audience. : ) The several people who read me who aren't on LJ have found me through word of mouth (word of blog?) and I think that's really cool.

I also think it's really cool when something I've written gets read by someone in unexpected places. My piece on post partum depression was read by someone in Finland and someone in Alabama, and I do not have LJ friends in either of those places.
