Things that are good.

Things that are good:

[livejournal.com profile] brian1789 surprised me with cool-looking business cards. They have my name and my website url and email address.

The house is livable.

The younger boys cleaned their room!

The temperature was very very lovely today.

I had a good laugh with the teenager over dinner. (About televised dominoes.)

While the cake I baked yesterday fell to crumbs, they are very tasty crumbs, and the frosting is kick-ass.

I have my computer, even if I have worn the letters off about ten keys (this is the third keyboard I've been on on this machine).

Regarding the keyboard: have you tried the iSkin (http://www.iskin.com/protouch/xt_features.html)? I can't live without mine now. :-)

There are televised dominoes? *boggle* Wow. Something more boring than televised poker.

There are. Some ESPN variant apparently shows domino tournaments from time to time. I know this because it's what was showing on the TV at the car dealer while I was waiting to talk to the finance guy. Amusingly, there was even domino DRRRAAAAMA! A guy on one of the teams got upset about something, no idea what, threw some tiles down and walked away from the table, causing his team to forfeit that round.

Who knew?

Between that and televised paintball, I'm just . . . stunned? delighted? perplexed? :)

They televise paintball?

Yes:

Televised domino tournaments must be more exciting.

Most things are.

Actually, that was the one match I saw, too. It was a little surreal.

I think I'm vaguely comforted to know that it wasn't entirely a car-dealership induced hallucination on my part.

That cake was way tasty :-) I loved the chocolate coffee frosting! Thanks again...
