Working on a post for WWF about voter registration, and I have a few observations:
I hate pdf files. I just do. They're annoying, and they clutter up my desktop.
In very many states, it is easier to find lottery results on the state website than it is instructions for how to register to vote.
"30 days before election day" can vary from state to state as much as +/- 2 days, depending upon county office schedules and holidays.
Utah has an terrible website for potential registrants. One would almost think they didn't want people to vote.
Vermont's process, requiring people to swear the "Voter's Oath," is quaint. Annoying, but quaint.
