9. The Rainbow Connection - Kermit (the Frog)

Very sweet...

1. Y.M.C.A. - Village People

Too campy not to love :-)

2. I Will Survive - Gloria Gaynor

I like this one as a song of strength.

31. The Devil Went Down To Georgia - Charlie Daniels Band

Wonderful bouncy fun, and fond memories of Dominique Moceanu using it in her floor routine in the '96 Olympics...

47. My Life - Billy Joel

I used to listen to this one when feeling particularly rebellious in my teens.

30. One Way or Another - Blondie
70. I Want You To Want Me - Cheap Trick
39. Video Killed The Radio Star - the Buggles
11. Born To Be Alive - Patrick Hernadez

More bouncy fun :-)

48. Honesty - Billy Joel

Loved that one well as a teen.

Songs I Wish I Didn't Remember
8. Escape (The Pina Colada Song) - Rupert Holmes (Shudder.)

I'll confess to liking this one, despite how it begins. I like its closing sentiment of hope that longterm partners can keep on discovering new depths to share in one other.

12. My Sharona - the Knack (Although, every once in a while, I enjoy listening to it. Go figure.)

The tune is catchy and fun, even if it's a silly song.
