I realize I am bandwagon jumping, but there are some things that need to be shared.

For those who view the war as a necessary evil, it is still important to remember that it is an evil. When we can contemplate the deaths of children half a world away and without sadness shrug them off as "collateral damage" (one of the grossest obscenities of our age) is when we begin to lose our humanity.
