Being taken for granted stinks.
The toe is much better. The tape came off -- it looks mostly normal size, and only a little discolored. It only hurts if someone touches it too hard (like when one of the kids stepped on my foot) or if I hit it against something. I'm still not in regular shoes, mainly flip-flops.
