Even though I was fighting a migraine all day -- to lose the battle this evening -- today was much better.
David had a much better day today. I had fun working in his class as I do every Tuesday. And I was a good girl and kept the promise I made myself to take the afternoon off. The two little ones went to childcare this afternoon and I went shopping for James's presents (his birthday is tomorrow). I even got to drop in to Books, inc. and talk to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sinboy while he took his break, which was enjoyable.
Overheard in my car:
David said something to make Kevin mad. Kevin (the youngest) said: "David, you say that again and we're through! Through, I tell you!"
I had to gently explain to Kevin that, whether he liked it or not, he was pretty much stuck with his brother until one or the other of them moved away from home -- in about, oh, ten years.
