it's back

I had a headache off and on for three weeks just before and following APC9. Then it got better. It's back this morning. I can take OTC meds, which knocks it down a bit, but cannot take any prescriptions because they make me sleepy and /or unable to drive, and I'm a single parent right now. Especially given the way David has been in school lately, I need to be able to leave the house.

I just got my reading assignment for the Lessons and Carols service at church on Sunday. I get to read the Annunciation (from Luke -- including the Magnificat). I'm floored. Not that there is a bad (read:boring) reading in the bunch, but the Annunciation is last and best. (The other terrific reading is the first one, Genesis 1.)

Wow. I feel humbly happy about this.
