(no subject)

I am in a small house, in a tiny living/dining room/kitchen with an electric guitarist, a bassist, and a full drum kit (which takes up most of the living room). I can't get to the table to type this, and I can't sit down at the counter because an amp is sitting on the kitchen/bar stool.

I just burned the brownies because I couldn't hear the timer go off for the earplugs. We can't watch DVDs in my room because they needed to hook up their video equipment.

And it's cold and rainy, so the park is not really an option.

Two more hours.

And no, I did *not* front load my iTunes.

Oh, joy.

I had retreated to my room. I noticed that it had gone really quiet in the other room -- So I went in to get a soda so I could surreptitiously check on what was going on. His fellow bandmates were trying to teach my eldest to play the electric guitar.

Just what I need, an electric guitarist. The neighbors will just *love* that.
