Can somebody explain to me how in the world I end up as the number one result when you google the phrase "Little Known American Heroes?" I just don't understand it.

Or is their something ironic about the Grateful Dead having their own line of skis and snowboards?

Yes, skiing and snowboarding are cool. But, generally speaking, they are also expensive sports to pursue, what with gear and what not, correct? Not like, say, street basketball or running marathons.
