Kudos to Reese Witherspoon for trying something other than "blonde and cute" for the upcoming period piece, Vanity Fair. And unlike some other actors *cough*KeanuReeves*cough* she looks like she might be able to pull it off.
Colin Farrell looks ridiculous as a blonde.
And if the trailer for Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow is really indicative of what the movie will look like, viewing it will seem not so much like seeing a film as like spending three hours in an Art Deco painting. Which might be bad, or not, depending upon how you feel about Art Deco.
