I'm having a panic attack. Brought on by having to cope with a very pushy door to door salesman trying to sell frozen foods -- the old, "someone cancelled their order" story, and "I'll sell them to you for half price". Maybe it's just me, but I hate buying things with people trying to pressure me. It may have been a terrific deal, but I didn't want to spend over $150 when I wasn't given a chance to figure out what the unit price is, and with someone practically demanding I give them my credit card information! I just wish I could figure out why I this triggered a panic attack. I can barely breathe, and my chest hurts. (He kept pressuring me for names of other people I could try. I sic'ed him on the people across the street, thinking no one was home, but there was!)

Oh, don't you hate those?
We had one of those guys out here a couple of months ago. The pitch wasn't quite so unpleasant, and I had the man unpack and show me all the meat, and I pressured him until I got solid $ figures. They don't make it easy, I know, including cheap items in with the expensive ones and giving you an overall figure for the lot. But with enough questions on portion sizes I was able to whip out the calculator and determine that the per-pound price was too high.
Next time you can tell them you're vegetarian (it was meat he was selling, right?)...
Breathe again!!!
