I really do not read all that many non-LJ blogs. I faithfully check Respectful of Otters (hi,
rivka! great going on the Time Magazine mention!) every day, and Real Live Preacher, and occasionally check Daily Kos or Making Light. But one I do read regularly is GoingJesus. More personal --- something like an LJ -- the blog is usually good reading, if for no other reason than the young woman who writes it.
GoingJesus is written by Sara, the Parish Administrator at my church. She is funny, irreverent, and faithful. She grapples with what it means to be a Christian in a genuine way. And she has a wonderful eye for the absurd (her compilation of Bad Nativities and The Passion of the Tchochke are priceless).
If nothing else, people should consider going to her CafePress store and buying her "WTFWJD?" and "Christian Who Thinks" shirts. It'll help pay her tuition for School for Deacons. The Episcopal Church really does need more clergy like her.
