Actually, I would be absolutely thrilled if he were to get to go to Mars. It would be a fulfillment of his dearest dream -- and who am I to stand between a man and his dreams?
Having said *that*, I must confess that last night I could not bring myself to watch Apollo 13 on the History Channel. Not so much for the "astronaut in peril" thing, but the "family at home dealing with astronaut in peril."
