I took the notes from the boys in my carryon luggage, and checked the brownies. Luggage spent 48 hours or so in Frankfort. This meant that neither Jay nor I had clean clothes to wear on Sunday, until after we went to El Rastro and bought more.
He was delighted to find that there was a note from you in with the brownies (made him be all schmoopy when I unpacked it last night). There is a box of the brownies in the freezer at the cottage (thanks for that suggestion).
