I'll make this a little easier for you guys...in what *decade* did the Charlie Chaplin move "Limelight" win the Oscar for Best Original Score?



The 1970s. 1972, to be exact. "Limelight", Chaplin's look at an aging comedian, was released in 1952. However, it didn't play in a Los Angeles area theatre until twenty years later, and hence wasn't eligible for an Oscar until then. Source: IMdB.com.
