I know that there are a couple, but have only visited one - it wasn't very interesting. I'm told that this is the norm (the netherlands doesn't so much make yarn) and that most of what you find is imported and thus often more expensive then buying it here. I can get more information on that if you thing it would be helpful despite all that (if she likes visiting fuzzies or wants to get more yarn while travelling).
Now, if she wants restaurant or interesting-things-to-see recommendations, I can be more helpful.. :)
I'm in the Netherlands! Yes, there isn't much locally-produced yarn I'm afraid (mostly some sock yarn) but there is some great stuff from Germany, Italy and France. Not cheap though, generally. Do you know which city (-ies) she'll be going to? I know some places in Amsterdam, and I can easily get the names and addresses of other ones. I know there's a good one Haarlem, and in Utrecht as well.
