i went to a band meeting last night...and it turns out that nobody even knew mva was in the band! she hadn't been measured for a uniform, she wasn't on robin's role sheet...etc...
see you on saturday at the "work day" i will probably help with something and find out how to help with the competitions. i have never been to a band competition before!
Ack! I forgot about the band meeting! And how could they miss an extra flute player? She had been going to practices, right? Good grief.
As far as competitions go, I know that last year they were always looking for people to help with moving gear. Part of that may have been that they had six coffins as props for the field show, and so they may not need as much assistance this year, but I'm sure there will be something. If nothing else, they usually need people to help move the pit equipment on and off the field. And there is always helping with hats and hair and what not.
