Today's iTunes purchases were seventies radio hits:

"My Maria" by B.W. Stevenson

"I Can See Clearly Now" by Johnny Nash

"Brandy (You're A Fine Girl)" by Looking Glass (no comments from the peanut gallery about my taste)

"Please Come to Boston" by Dave Loggins (ditto)

"Life is a Rock (But the Radio Rolled Me)" by Reunion (a really silly list song)

"Vehicle" by The Ides of March (the original, not the remake by that American Idol guy. This is a great song, even if the lyrics are sort of disturbing, mainly because of the kick-ass horns. It also has fond memories for me as the number we played in eighth grade jazz band.)

And, what is one of my favorite songs from that era, Jonathan Edwards' "Sunshine."

Yesterday, not a radio hit and from the sixties, not the seventies, Noel Harrison, "Windmills of My MInd" (The Theme from the Thomas Crown Affair). I wanted the Dusty Springfield version but they don't have it.

I feel the same way about the "Please Come to Boston" song. I just can't help it. Makes me all happy.

Hey, *I* think those are great choices! Many were my favorites of the day, also.
