Scroll down to today's (May 4's) online poll. This, ladies and gentlemen, is why the St. Pete Times is the best paper in the country.

Edit: except, of course, that it should be "state" not "national" day of prayer. Oops. Well, it's still a damn fine newspaper.

St Jim seems to be in the lead at the moment. *Said with a straight face*

I myself voted for Our Lady of the Bermuda High.

Hm. Right now I'm seeing a poll on Tourist Spots.
Methinks that isn't what you had in mind.

Can you provide more info on what it says/said?

[BTW, I used to live in Clearwater; I agree re:SPT being one of the best.]

Yesterday's poll, and I'm going on memory here but I'm pretty close, was "The Florida Senate has declared the first day of hurricane season a national [sic] day of prayer. Who would you pray to?

El Nino Perpetuo Bueno Tiempo
Our Lady of the Bermuda High
St. William of Colorado, patron of prognosticators
St. Jim of Cantore, patron of windblown weathermen
St. Fema, patron of mitigation

I picked Our Lady of the Bermuda High, but last I checked, St. Jim of Cantore was winning. : )
