I was told that yesterday's TQOTD was too easy (as it was). I though of responding with a question about "My World and Welcome To It", a lovely mid-seventies sitcom that was seen by all of about three people, including me. Instead, I decided to ask about something a little mor mainstream...

What team of comic geniuses created the spy spoof "Get Smart"? (Bonus question: What was Agent 99's real name?)

Mel Brooks and Buck Henry created "Get Smart". Brooks went on to write and direct comedies such as The Producers, Blazing Saddles, and Young Frankenstein. Henry went on to write movies such as Catch-22, and to direct Heaven Can Wait, and to be a five-time host on Saturday Night Live, among other things.

And Agent 99's name? Nobody knows -- it was never given.
