This morning I posted a bitchy/whiny comment in someone's LJ, immediately thought better of it, and deleted the comment. (I have had far too little sleep the past few days.) I checked to make sure it was deleted. I then added an innocuous comment. I checked *THAT* comment to make sure it was okay -- the other one did not show up, because it was deleted, right?
Sometime during the day, the first, deleted, comment reappeared -- posted *after* my innocuous comment. I would not have known anything about it, except that a third party mentioned having seen the comment. I immediately deleted the comment for the second time, and I'm hoping that it will stay deleted.
Where do you lodge complaints?

Re:
Besides, people like to forgive you when you apologize with anything resebling actual contrition. So few people are willing to admit their own fault these days that the novelty alone of an apology can cause a person to really stop in their tracks. And if they don't forgive, oh well, you tried.
Just do better next time.
