hurrah! After trying to get into see my gyn (since they did the surgery) I gave up and called my primary care doctor. Her nurse was as emphatic as the gyn nurse was diffident -- "you MUST be seen tonight; we have to find out what's causing the fever." So I get to see a doctor (not mine, but oh well) in a couple of hours. Head still hurts a lot, though.

That's a relief

I saw your series of entries and was getting worried. Fevers after a surgery are nothing to fool around with. I'm glad you're going to be seen right away. Please let me know if there's any way I can help.

I hadn't been keeping up today; I didn't know this was going on. I have a car again, if you need someone to go along to the doc as a health advocate. I can't remember if Brian is home or not...

Feel free to call me to go with you or just to chat. You have my numbers, right? (If not, I'll send 'em in email.)

Good, good, good luck...

That's good news. Wish I could offer any real assistance from over here; in the meantime, I hope they find out what's causing the fever and manage to get it taken care of.
