Just in case anyone is interested, I will be going to see Michael Moore's "Bowling for Columbine" at 7:00 at the Camera One Theater in San Jose. (I couldn't do the 9:35 showing because of child care considerations.) I have been waiting for months for this to open.
I would urge everybody to see this movie (especially in the first week or so, so it doesn't disappear from the theaters): it is an examination of America's love for violence, and, given the geopolitical situation we find ourselves in, is very relevant. For cinephiles, it received a special award at Cannes this year.

I've read a review of this film when it premiered in Australia, and since then I have been hoping to see it. I saw "Roger and Me" and found it both grueling and well done, and that was back when Moore had less experience working with film.
This will prove to be both a horror as well as an eye-opener, judging from the review...Believe me, I'd rather live somewhere where it's okay to show bare breasts and buttocks on TV and where violence is receives a more stringent viewer rating.
