It's been a good day, even if I did not get much done. Met with my therapist, who got the Guinea pig joke right away. Drove around looking for specialty food ingredients. Plotted Christmas presents. Looked at a "Where's Waldo" book with David.... and actually found the sucker a couple of times. (Don't laugh.... that's harder than it sounds.) Made sheperd's pie for dinner, a big hit with all my guys but Kevin. Watched the Rugrats Hannukah special ("A Maccababy's gotta do what a Maccababy's gotta do!") and had to break the news to David that no, we weren't going to be celebrating Hannukah again this year. Now I am watching the Jeff Corwin special. Very funny.
I am irrationally happy. There's a lot in my life that I am worried about or despairing of, but at this very moment I'm not letting that affect me. And hell, I've spent a lot of time in my life being irrationally unhappy, so maybe it's just equal time.
