Following a dream?

I'm looking into taking acting classes at a local university next spring. (Okay, you guys who have met me, you can snicker. I'll wait. Dum de dum de dum. Okay, you can stop snickering now. No, really, you can stop. STOP IT.)

I know I will never grace the silver screen, but what the hell, I may discover a hidden talent. Might as well put my innate tendencies toward over-the-top emotionalism to some use. And hey, I got an A in my trial classes in law school, and that's sort of like acting...

How do you know you'll never grace the silver screen? Anyway, I'm in favor of people learning more forms of artistic expression. It's a Good Thing.
