I do NOT need to get into high end knitting. I especially do not need to buy 3 ropes (? big loops -- not skeins) of that incredibly thick but insanely soft "Celtic" yarn from the ArtFibers store at $30/per so I can knit myself a throw. No, No, NO.

I just have never before been exposed to such.... yarn. Yarn that you want to buy just so you can run your fingers through it, in all sorts of colors never seen in nature.

You see, that's how it starts.... ;) I don't knit at all, but I experience this with fabric ALL THE TIME!

I can't stop you, but I can provide you with many, many justifications for sinful yarn purchases ("At least I'm learning something", "It's better than just vegging in front of the tv", "I get a finished product from my own hands", etc.)
