Good news: there are a couple of quiz bowl companies that accept admissions through the web.

Bad news: they pay dirt. My previous question writing gig paid $5 per, this would pay less than $2. I would have to churn out 10 questions/hour to make it worth my while, assuming all got accepted, which is unlikely.

One the one hand, these places do not seem to require URLs for verification (my last gig did) which reduces the amount time needed to prepare them. I could write these looking at a dictionary in the library. On the other hand, given that this would be more general knowledge questions (not "trivia" questions) there is a higher likelihood that whatever questions I write they'll already have.

Still, it might be worth a shot to submit something.
