*mushroom lust*

For years I joined some friends on Mother's Day Weekend for a morel-hunting foray in the mountains of Central Oregon, near Sisters. We gave up when the woods started filling up with for-profit mushroom hunters, who usually pack guns.

If you were local, you'd be more than welcome to them. My husband has a nasty mushroom allergy.

I just think they're cool looking.
