Many years ago, I interviewed for a job with a firm on one of the top floors of one of the Pennzoil Place towers in Houston. Thirty-six floors of sheet-glass walls, completely floor to ceiling. The attorney who interviewed me told me that one of the first things they did to associates was stand them in one of the corners -- where clear glass met clear glass -- and see how uncomfortable they got.
It'll be interesting to see how Rita deals with them. Not that I'm snickering or anything.

I guess the only reason I'm at all snickering is that I've always thought the "hazing the new associates so they can prove they're real men" routine sadistic. I had an interview in one of those corner offices, and it made me uncomfortable ten feet away from the wall.
