I hadn't been writing in my other journal for a months -- since the kids got out for the summer -- until last week. It's slow going, starting to write and research again. And I wonder why I do it. And the answer is...
I do it because I have to. When I'm healthy at least. I know only about 25 people read the things. It's not like NaNoWriMo, which was sort of a "let's see if we can pull this off" rather than a compulsion.
It just takes time (mainly because I do try to be at least a little careful about sources, and there is the coming up with the questions in the first place) -- especially when I'm rusty -- and I have a hard time justifying it to myself sometimes.
