More and more these days I am struck by how fortunate I am that I get to spend all the time I do hanging out with my kids. I love them, but more than that, I like them a lot. We actually talk about things.

And yes, I know, every mom says her kids are cool. And every mom is right. But mine really are.

(smile) yes, and who they are has been directly influenced by their environment. Including talking about things, and treating them with both love and respect.
