By Monday, I have to write five Bible studies for my Church's women's retreat (I've got some of them partly written, and I know what I am going to write about).

Halloween is in ten days, and I have no idea what we're doing for it.

Aaaaaahhhhh!!!!

(And once again, I am struck by the inadequacy of the mood icon set.)

Well, I can't help with the Bible studies or Halloween... but do you know that you can choose a mood, then type something in the "other" box-- and you'll get that icon with the words you typed? So you could select "anxious" or "scared" and type "panicked."

I am frequently annoyed at the inadequacy of the mood icons. There's no "proud", no "cryptic", no "glamorous", etc.

I usually end up going through the images to find the closest one, and doing a write-in of the word or phrase. But when I change my icon set, the new picture might not be a good match!

I don't know what you might be thinking of doing for Halloween, but I went to Ardenwood Farm in Fremont last weekend with AKD. They have a cornfield maze (MAiZE) which is haunted at night, pumpkin patch, hay rides, and other stuff that the younger two might enjoy (and is open this weekend and next).

I read that as "five Bible stories" and thought, "Haven't they been finished for a long time?"

Tired.

Halloween in this context reminds me that I've known Christians who won't celebrate Halloween because it's Pagan (or satanic) and at the Jewish school where we taught, we couldn't celebrate it because it's Christian.
