But I didn't get an LJ valentine. Not only did the five people I nominated not pick me (or did not participate), no one else did either. I wish brian1789 hadn't talked me out of sending him one. He could have used it.

I don't know why I feel unhappy about this (Not majorly, only in a mild, "Gee whiz" wistful sort of way.) I don't even like Valentine's Day. Maybe because I was using it to tell several people what I think of them (since I lack the courage to actually tell them myself) and it did not work out.

I did not really expect anyone othe than the few I nominated to nominate me, so it isn't a surprise.

Please note that the site did not work at all for me. The same may have been true for others. It didn't work when I tried it last night, and when I wrote to complain, I was told it was "too late" as the system had stopped taking "new" people at 12pm GMT (which is something like 2am around here). Since I didn't even SEE the message about the valentine thingy till 10:30pm (from YOUR post, BTW), I'm betting most of your desired valentines didn't either, or got the same result I did. Really, It's NOT About YOU!

(And I get that you still feel sad. Hope you feel better soon.)
