I am really bad at taking any medicine that requires me to take it more than once a day. So I have set the alarm on my cell phone to go off every six hours (more or less) to remind me to take my antibiotics for the strep.
The ring-tone I use? The theme from the Magnificent Seven. And I don't turn it off until I actually take the medicine. (Although I will hit "snooze" so my family won't murder me.)
So I keep imagining these cowboys riding up over the hill to threaten me into taking the penicillin.

That's wonderful. (And a really great idea. I have the same problem with medicines. Once a day I can usually manage, but after that it falls apart.)

I also have trouble remembering meds that require multiple doses a day. Once a day I am fine, cause I've got it linked in with my morning brush-teeth-shower routine, but more than that takes some doing. And when travelling, even the morning dose gets knocked off-kilter - your post just reminded me that I forgot this morning's claritin and advair, sigh. Your alarm thing is a good idea - I might try that.
