My only disappointment was the RLP didn't dissect the Romans and I Corinthians passages, as well, but he was right: the other things he had to say were more important.

Yay! Thanks for bringing this to Pat's attention, and thence to mine. Quite a nice piece indeed. If there were more Christians out there like this, I might not have had to leave the Church screaming. ;^)

BTW: I have a friend out in your area who has recently joined the LJ community, carmenwatson. She's never been happy since moving out there (about 6 years ago now), and part of the reason is that she never found any community out there. I'm thinking she'd enjoy talking to some reasonable, sane, adults about something other than computers or babies. Maybe you all can hook up at some point, and have coffee or something (I mean, in April, or whenever the snow melts enough so you can all drive again!)
