The saga continues....

I was driving back from Stanford today when a man pulled up next to me and said "Lady, your front wheel is either bent or so loose it's about to come off!" Given what's been going on, I suspect the latter.

Thing is, it was driving fine yesterday. And this morning, Kevin told me he though that some of the lug nuts on the now loose tire looked looser -- a notion I pooh-poohed after looking at and feeling them. I guess I owe the boy an apology. He has really sharp eyes.

GEICO will not send road service out to tighten the tire lug nuts until I can find the key to the remaining locking lug nuts (one of which is still in the loose tire). I don't know where it is, and brian1789 is out of the country.

Meantime, I leave in ten minutes for Coalinga.

The locking nut socket should be in the toolkit, in the garage... I wonder if someone tried to steal the wheels, then gave up when they couldn't get the locking nuts off? Better check the other wheels, too...
