Couldn't do it. Couldn't stay offline.

More importantly, decided it was unwise to stay offline, at least this week. With [livejournal.com profile] brian1789 gone, and the live-in babysitter off at Band Camp [insert American Pie</> joke here] and the stress about the upcoming surgery, I don't need to cut myself off from what I have determined is a large amount of my contact with the adult world.

I still need to work on *how* I spend my time online -- I spend far too much time refresshing LJ and checking out Atrios (which I need to stop doing for mental health reasons if nothing else). But reading LJ some and reading blogs through once a day should be okay.

Not to mention writing. It's hard not writing. Or commenting.

And if I had stayed offline, I would not have discovered (or at least not for a few more days) that WWF has been listed on the Mad Monk's blogroll! Whoo Hoo!

The kids decided they didn't want to take me up on the "no electronics" challenge, either. We may try again when school is back in session.

Are you available Friday?

Sorry I missed your call today. I was at work until 7 p.m. & then went to Cov Group.

Nope, this week's out. No babysitter because of band camp. School starts next week, so maybe then -- Friday, perhaps?

speaking of band camp and MVHS, i went and got mva's class schedule today... but she couldn't go to band camp as she is in tennessee. i met carol the counselor who seems really nice. mva's counselor is linda schortz, or something like that!

i need a new icon of her and me together..this one is too old now!

she is currently enrolled in marching band, symphonic band, and wind ensemble. but she will likely drop symphonic band and have 1st period as a free period....

you will have to frighten me with inform me about what band parents are expected to do!
