Gotta admit that there were lots of opportunities for narrowing down choices. Pizza? Chinese takeout, San Francisco? Ah, well, it amused.

96%. Why yes, I have read every word of it, but only because I was paid to do so. I'm far from being a scholar or devout. In a more rigorous quiz you'd have beat me by a heck of a lot more.

The only question I even paused over was who led the Israelites into the Promised Land, since Moses led them there, but not actually into Canaan -- that was Joshua. I didn't know how picky the authors of the quiz were going to be.

Ah, that's one of the ones where I knew very certainly that it wasn't Moses--and figured the authors put it there as a sort of "trick" but because they'd already done the "lead out of Egypt" one I figured they were deliberately looking for the correct not-Moses answer for this one, but I couldn't decide whether it was Aaron or Joshua (who I mosly know from the battle of Jericho, which I think is the same Joshua, but might not be.) Apparently, in guessing Aaron, I guessed wrong.

Oh, I see your point. Yes, Moses led all the way to "the Promised Land". I figured they were going for the "into Canaan" answer though, and didn't notice the possibility of interpreting the question differently.

And I wouldn't have gotten it if they hadn't had the earlier question about Moses, which made me think about the "Yeah, but he didn't get all the way" part.

I got a 98%; not too shabby, considering I haven't actually read it in close to 20 years. Must be those summers spent at vacation bible school. ;)

Catholic grade school, Catholic high school, Jesuit college. =) Honestly though, I think I did more actual reading of the bible and memorizing of verses in the vacation bible school I went to at one of the local Baptist churches.
