Let's see. I was industrious and got up and sent e-mail to ten different people asking them to read for VIP reading day. I had been procrastinating on this. Then got a call from the principal saying VIP Reading Day would have to be moved because state testing conflicts (we set the date for this in JANUARY!). I now have to e-mail all those people back saying the date has been moved, which makes me look like a complete ditz.

Which also means I have to redo my promotional materials, and write a blurb explaining the move. And none of this is my fault, at all. Well, that's not completely true -- had I checked my messages yesterday like a good girl I would have seen a message from the principal about this matter and would not have e-mailed people this morning. So maybe I am a ditz, after all.

And D is home with diarrhea. Which means that I can't go out to lunch, and I have to deal with a cranky child who is not sick enough to be easy to deal with but who is too sick to go back to school.

And the I-Mac seems to have died.

I'm sorry you won't be able to make it to lunch. I'm sure people won't think you're a ditz if you send out new info right away. To my mind, that shows that you're keeping on top of things. I've never known a long term project to go on without needing some revision, or having a few of the details mixed up before the actual goal is met.

Thanks for the vote of confidence... as you suggested, I did send out the new info right away. And at least we got to have lunch yesterday. : >
