I am so tired of this...

I am exhausted, in pain from having my wound repacked, and for no apparent reason, really nauseous. I am at the same time isolated and lonely (having mom around helps, but she is my mom and she leads a very different life than I do and there are a lot of things we can't talk about) and at the same time too wiped out to be actually be sociable to anyone. And Brian is out of town today.

When (sometimes it feels like that should be "if") I finally get well I am going to go get hot tub time at Watercourse Way. In the meantime, maybe I'll just go to sleep.

My temp went from 98.4 at 11 to 100.9 at 1.

2 pm

102.9 the nurse says take some meds and call back in an hour. i hope the vicodin helps my headache as well as the fever if i have symptoms tmorrow they'll fit me in. i can't think straight.

3:30 -- down

temp down to 101.3 head still hurts very badly.

hurrah! After trying to get into see my gyn (since they did the surgery) I gave up and called my primary care doctor. Her nurse was as emphatic as the gyn nurse was diffident -- "you MUST be seen tonight; we have to find out what's causing the fever." So I get to see a doctor (not mine, but oh well) in a couple of hours. Head still hurts a lot, though.
