No fever this morning (I was began running one yesterday afternoon after being normal in the morning, so we shall see). I am still very weak and it hurts to breathe -- not very bad, but definitely there. And coughing (which I am still doing) hurts to the point where I find myself actively trying to avoid coughing -- which is bad because I need to cough up the gunk in my lungs.

I didn't even open the computer at all yesterday.

On an amusing note: this morning Kevin says he's sick. He's not running a fever, but since I've been sick I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I give him some cold medicine, announce I will be enforcing the House Rules for Sick Kids with No Fever (no tv, no videogames -- and with David, no books -- and stay in bed) and send him back to bed. An hour later he comes in, announces that he is completely cured and requests to be taken to school. (The reason for relaxing the rules when a fever is involved is that in that case the child is verifiably sick and can't go back to school. I also relax the rules if the child is vomiting, or if they go to bed with no protest and stay there for a couple of hours and still seem genuinely sick when they get up.)

I just got a headboard for my bed --- the type with a bookshelf. Turns out, it's deep enough to sit my laptop up there next to my CPAP with a bit of room to spare. Which means I can keep Jan in my room rather than out next to Merope (the desktop iMac). It also makes it much easier to journal from bed. All I need now is a coffee IV ((or this morning, cough medicine) and I'm all set.
Um, okay..... I would love to know the backstory here.

And then there's this... I really want to know if this guy gets responses.
