Today, [livejournal.com profile] geekchick told me about a rabbit she had read about named "Rabbit Redford." This has led me to think of other pet names:

For bunnies:
Rabbit De Niro
Rabbit Plant (for the rock fans in the audience)
Rabbit J. Oppenheimer

For dogs:
(Boxers) Muhammad Ali and Jake La Motta
(Puli or Komondor -- dogs with dreadlocks) Bob (or Ziggy) Marley
(Pug) Al Pugcino (thanks, [livejournal.com profile] geekchick)
(Collies) Melon -- what else?

Cat:
Ballou
Sup
Astrophe

Koi:
Carp Diem

Guinea Pigs:
At Emptor (okay, so this is a sort of geeky joke, I still like it)

And so on.... I think I should take my meds and go to bed now.... : >

Every once in a while I declare that I'm going to give up all of this psychology nonsense and run off to be a tropical yak herder. (Tropical yaks because I hate the cold. A tropical yak can be obtained by putting sunglasses and a Hawaiian shirt on a standard yak.)

[livejournal.com profile] curiousangel came up with the name for my first yak: Boris Pasternyak. I came up with the name for the other member of the breeding pair: Yakqueline Susann. Hard as it may be to believe, the names actually went downhill from there.

Yak Nicholson? (all work and no play makes yak a dull.... ungulate)

It's always nice to find people whose minds work like mine. I knew there was a reason I liked the two of you so much... : >
