My eight year old (who is also home sick) is playing his iTunes through earphones (so as not to disrupt my listening to Weird Al. I just looked over to see what he was listening to.

He was listening to Metallica. At eight.

Where did I go wrong?

What's wrong with listening to Metallica? If it will make you feel better, I can send him some Apocalyptica, which is a band that does instrumental Metallica covers on cellos. Or the Metallica album recorded with the San Francisco Symphony. =)

James has S & M -- I love the version of "Enter Sandman" that's on there. You can really hear the musical underpinnings to the screaming guitars.
