My eight year old (who is also home sick) is playing his iTunes through earphones (so as not to disrupt my listening to Weird Al. I just looked over to see what he was listening to.

He was listening to Metallica. At eight.

Where did I go wrong?

I dunno, maybe it's the loss of innocence thing. Also -- what is he going to be like as a teenager?

James has S & M -- I love the version of "Enter Sandman" that's on there. You can really hear the musical underpinnings to the screaming guitars.
